Air Magic

Air Magic is an Elementalist secondary attribute, meaning that any character with Elementalist as their primary or secondary profession can put points into this attribute.

Air Magic is effective and easy to use in PvP battles. The reason for this popularity can be garnered from the Guild Wars description—Air Magic spells deal large amounts of damage to and debilitate a single enemy.
The essence of Air magic is speed, focus, and deadly vengeance against attackers
Air Magic is usually related to spike damage. since it has the ability to consistently and quickly deliver medium to high damage to one single target, allowing it to quickly and repeatedly 'spike' a target.
Closely related to white smiting magic, its use is mirrored in the nature of white magic: many small units acting as one great entity, making it most effective when used as a part of a focus damage team build.
Dwyna's influences are further reflected on the heavy reliance on enchantments in air magic as one of the main energy management sources. Due to this dependence, it is high advisable to bring a cover enchantment such as Aura of Restoration or Windborn Speed
Most Air skills cause a useful secondary effect such as knockdown, blindness, or weakness, all of which are very useful, most are designed to punish or interupt single attackers although skills such as Whirlwind can be used to interrupt multiple attackers against an ally.
Air Magic skills has the highest potential exhaustion rates, whilst powerful must be used with extreme care. Consider the use of Glyph of Energy
Air Magic lacks skills that do damage over time, so Protection Prayers skills that can effectively prevent spike damage, such as Reversal of Fortune, Protective Bond, Spell Breaker and Protective Spirit, may render the elementalist's energy wasted.
like many white magics Air is is defencive based at heart helping other casters and preventing them from harm via mass blinding and knockdown, since its offence is same what easily countered unless used as a part of a team which turns air magic into a almost unstoppable force when used correctly, one good example is the use of Invoke Lightning in PvP teams resulting in almost instant death against unprotected targets.
Due to the emphasis on single targets, Air Magic is far less popular in PvE, where you are often forced to fight many targets at once.
