[edit] The Chronicles
[under construction please add your own experience and feel free change what ever is incorrect]
[edit] Two Man with a plan
- Jayd Clow and our missing hero met under the eternal Ascalon spring sun. It was the year of the Phoenix, and the gods of fire ruled the lands. The illusion of peace was about to be shattered by the arcane flames which descended from the heavens. Yet the spell was strong, it was a willing fantasy in which they lived and died, despite the fact many of them knew the forth coming future.
- Fighting for the last of Ascalon's past, the two fought endlessly against the Charr. With the spoils of war they sowed the seed for a greater force to spawn against the hellish minions that besieged the capital. That seed was to became WitB.
- The first incarnation of this guild was [Rage] (Spartans united), Jayd claims the name was not his idea. Our other missing hero soon left for post searing leaving Jayd as acting leader of Rage. Jayd soon joined our hero in post, along with many friends from real life forming a soild structure on which the guild expanded.
- It was around this time many of the long term members of guild joined, most of whom are still with us today. Activity flourished and the guild grew in size rapidly. But as time went on real-life demands caught up with Jayd whom have already became less active under the strain, he knew that his saga was almost at a end; it was time to appointed a new guild leader. (trivia: just before Jayd went MIA it was rumored that he still possessed a great sword with a permanent +20% dmg mod on it, if the sword still exists, it would be possibly one of the most prized swords in GW)
[edit] Urza's Legacy
- Urza (named after the fictional artificer/planeswalker in Magic the gathering) like the myth suggests Urza did not waste time when it came to war. His campaign for PvP domination was realised and taken up by the daring few. He personally organised and formed endless amount of HA groups and team arenas, uniting the most active members into a extremely effective fighting unit.
- Although gifted as a commander and ranger, Urza tendency to be extremely aggressive was the making of his downfall; as many in-guild conflicts slowly drained his popularity among the members. However amidst the chaos the guild's rank steadily rose up the ladder.
- At this point in time much of the guild specialised in warriors and rangers as the meta game of ranger spike, spirit spam, and rumors of Urza help inventing IWAY floated in the air.
- Rage was now name known in the ranks of PvP. However in the end as the glory of combat dulled the fire in the heart of Urza was quelled, and thus he walked from the planes of GW to seek fresh battles. The leader position was passed around until finally Kedlai Everwinter settled into the seat of supreme guild leader.
[edit] Ripping the chrysalis, the butterfly flutters
- With the absence of Urza the guild was now divided, the tradition of PvP still remained fresh in many and much of the guild was inactive or in favour of PvE, Initialy as a PvP initiative it was decided that the guild was to be born again under a different suitable name, [WitB] (Where iz teh bonuz) won out in the end since it captured the casual friendly spirit of the guild, and also reflected its PvE born core.
- The Guild's longevity lays in the people who makes it for what it is. It is the kindness, patentice and enduring friendship of its members which molded it's presence. As time washes the sands away, bare the rock that is left standing.
